 Pharmacology of the Key ingredients of Arthzed Capsules

GOKSHURAKA, PUNARNAVA, VRUSHYA : By increasing glomerular filtration rate (GFR), it reduces inflammation/irritation which give rise to calculus formation. Lowers the uric acid by increasing excretion and thereby interfering the biosynthetic mechanism of uric acid. It also has analgesic activity that will help reduce the painful maturation.

CHANDRAPRABHA VATI No 1. : An all time efficient Rasayana drug for genito urinary tract. By its anti-inflammatory property, it is useful in Prostatitis, nephritis and inflammation of urine passage. It is also an alkalizer and enhances the process of urine formation and found useful in suppressed urine. (Mutraghata).

KULTHI, PASHANBHED, HAJARULYAHUD BHASMA : These all posses lithotrophic/antilythic properties in dissolving the formed stones. Break the lithus in tiny particles and removes crystals from urine.

SAUBHAGYA PUSHPA, SUROKHARA, YAVAKSHARA : Removes obstructions from urinary tract by flushing the urine by their Saraka property. They also are good alkalizers to change the ph of the urinary passage to dislodge the lithus. Removes inflammation and painful micturation and infection. Their spasmolytic property is always welcome in renal colic.
